Dorothy Fields, daughter of vaudeville star Lew Fields (of Weber & Fields) started writing songs for Tin Pan Alley and Broadway in the 1920s, in spite of the fact, that her first Broadway show was a flop. From the 30s on she also worked for Hollywood with her partner, composer Jimmy McHugh. She won an Oscar for the song "The Way You Look Tonight" from Swing Time (1936), which she had written with Jerome Kern. She has at least one child, David Lahm.- Susan McGinnis was born on 20 March 1964 in Allenhurst, New Jersey, USA. She is a producer, known for On the Money (1992), The CBS Morning News (1987) and CBS Marketwatch Weekend (1999).

Gloria Monte is known as an American Television producer and director working primarily in the field of television daytime drama. Gloria Montemuro was born in Allenhurst, New Jersey on August 12, 1921. Gloria attended the University of Iowa, New York University, Columbia University where she earned her Masters Degree in drama. In 1952, she married writer and director Robert O'Byrne (m.1952-1991) with whom she founded a New York theater group, ABBÉ Theatre School. With O'Byrne, Gloria Monte directed summer stock productions; led acting and speech workshops at the New School in New York City, where her pupils included the following: Marlon Brando, Demmi Moore and Tony Curtis.
